Clear sourcing. Accurate stories. Transparent commercial relationships.
Fitness Equipment Executive Magazine is being built around original owner interviews and relevant commercial-equipment reporting. These standards define how we intend to separate editorial coverage from optional paid media and how we handle factual accuracy.
Original Executive Spotlights
Executive Spotlights are developed from interviews with the people who own or lead fitness-equipment businesses. We aim to represent the owner’s story, expertise, and claims accurately without turning the article into advertising copy.
Before publication, names, company details, quotations, photographs, and other factual elements are reviewed during the technical sign-off process.
Industry reporting and sources
News and industry coverage should distinguish between independently established facts and statements made by companies, manufacturers, researchers, or other sources. Product claims and business claims are attributed to the source making them when attribution is relevant.
Where a story depends on external reporting, studies, announcements, or company materials, those sources should be represented accurately and not rewritten in a way that changes their meaning.
Corrections
If we learn that a published factual detail is materially wrong, our standard is to correct it. Minor typographical fixes may be made without a correction note; substantive corrections should be made transparently when appropriate.
Editorial and paid media
The original interview and Executive Spotlight are complimentary. Purchasing an optional Media Kit is not required for the original article to be published.
Any paid placement, sponsored promotion, or advertising treatment should be identified clearly enough that a reasonable reader can distinguish it from independent editorial coverage.
Images and captions
Images supplied by a featured company should not be presented as independent photography. Illustrative stock photography should be identified or credited where appropriate and should not be represented as a featured company’s facility, product, or personnel.
Conflicts and disclosure
Commercial relationships that are relevant to how a reader would interpret a piece of content should be disclosed. Referral or partnership arrangements should not change the factual standards applied to an editorial article.
